Shannyn Mclnally

Shannyn is the services Nominated Supervisor who manages the service independently.Shannyn holds a Diploma in Early childhood education and care, A Diploma in Business, A Diploma in Business Administration and a CIV in Training and Assessment. Shannyn is currently studying her Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management.As Shannyn is a Trainer and Assessor, she is also responsible for Training all staff and ensuring they are trained correctly and qualified while working at McDowall Village Childcare. Shannyn does this by working for an Independent RTO alongside McDowall Village Childcare.Shannyn has been in the industry for 15 years and is extremely passionate about inclusion and inclusive practises within the early childhood industry.

Shannyn is a strong believer that all children in her care feel safe and secure and this is embedded within the service and staff. All Children in Shannyn’s care and empowered to create an environment where their voices are heard and their ideas are implemented.Shannyn has 3 beautiful daughters who keep her busy while not at the service.

Vanessa Christides

Miss Vanessa is the Lead Educator in the Nursery.

Miss Vanessa is also one of the centres Educational Leaders who mentors and supports each educator with their programming and planning to ensure each child’s developmental needs are met whilst in our care.

Miss Vanessa has been with the company for 4 years and has worked with all age groups. Miss Vanessa has a nurturing and soft approach well fitted to caring for our babies.

Miss Vanessa Holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Kirra Lee Pallentine

Miss Kirra is the Assistant Educator in the nursery Room.

Miss Kirra has been with us for 1 year and was a parent at McDowall Village Childcare before starting her adventure in Early Childhood.

Miss Kirra is studying her Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. When she is not studying she is a busy Mother to 2 boys.

Miss Kirra offers a warm, motherly touch to our nursery room and babies ensuring all of their daily needs are met and they feel safe and secure.

Meet Our Senior Nursery/Toddlers Staff

Natalie Payne

Miss Natalie is the Lead Educator in our Senior Nursery/Toddler room. Miss Natalie is also the centres Assistant Director and is responsible for ensuring the compliance and day to day operations of the service.

Miss Natalie has been with the service for 6 years and is a true asset to the organisation.Miss Natalie holds her Diploma in early Childhood Education and care and is currently studying an Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management. Miss Natalie has a true passion for the Early Childhood Industry and all the children adore her.

Amy Plumb

Miss Amy is the support Lead Educator in Our Senior Nursery, Toddler room.Miss Amy has been with the organisation for 6 years and has worked with all age groups.

Miss Amy is studying her Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and is due to finish and graduate this year. When she is not studying she is a busy Mother to 3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl.Miss Amy offers a wealth of Knowledge as both a childcare professional and a mother. Miss Amy has strong key relationships with all children in her care and we are very lucky to have her.

Mirjam Mcgregor

Miss Mirjam is the Third support Educator in the toddler room. Miss Mirjam Joined as at the service 1 year ago as a student studying her Diploma of Early childhood education and care.

After seeing Mirjam’ s soft beautiful nature and the relationships she quickly built with each child we knew we had to have her as part of our McDowall Village childcare team. Miss Mirjam has joined the senior nursery/toddler room after spending a lot of time with these children in nursery. Miss Mirjam offers the children a familiar and supportive face to ensure a smooth transition from the nursery.

Meet Our Junior Kindy Staff

Kellie Douyere

Miss Kellie is The Job share Lead Educator in the Junior Kindy room. Miss Kellie has been in the childcare industry for 16 years and joined us at McDowall Village childcare this year.

Miss Kellie holds a Certificate III in children’s services and is currently studying her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.Miss Kellie has a strong passion for sustainability and is always collecting sticks and natural resources for the service.

When Miss Kellie is not at work she is a busy mum to 2 beautiful children.

Wendy carrillo Morena

Miss Wendy is the Job Share lead educator in the Junior Kindy room alongside Miss Kellie. Miss Wendy was a parent of ours who then joined us as an educator a year ago.

Miss Wendy is studying her Diploma of Early Childhood education and care.

Miss Wendy is a Mother to 2 beautiful children who also attend McDowall Village Childcare.Miss Wendy is from Venezuela and is bi-lingual. Miss Wendy loves to teach the children how to speak Spanish.

Peter Mclnally

Mr Pete is the third educator in the Junior Kindy room.Mr Pete has been in the childcare industry for 16 years and has worked with various age groups in various roles.

Mr Pete holds his Diploma in Early childhood education and care and has been with the service for 2 years.

Mr Pete is also the centres maintence man and is often found around the service fixing things.Mr Pete is a Father to 3 beautiful Daughters who are now all in school.

Meet Our Pre Kindy Staff

Amy Mccaul

Miss Amy is the Early Childhood Teacher in our Pre Kindy Room.Miss Amy Started with us as the Nursery Assistant and then moved to the Pre Kindy teacher.

Miss Amy is studying her Bachelor in early learning and is in her final semester before graduating at the end of this year.Miss Amy has a passion for the early years and learning everything there is to ensure each child’s individual developmental needs are met.

Miss Amy has done a lot of  extra training around trauma and additional needs and we are very lucky to have her as part of our team.

Gemma Spindler

Miss Gemma is the Lead educator in the pre kindy room alongside Miss Amy. Miss Gemma joined us this year after returning to work from Maternity leave.

Miss Gemma has a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. Miss Gemma’s nurturing nature allows her to build respectful and trusting relationships with all children in her care.

Miss Gemma is also a Mother to 3 beautiful children. Being a mother allows Gemma to understand both the parent and the child’s perspective to provide the best quality care to all of our families.

Mikayala

Miss Mikayla has recently joined us as the third educator in the pre kindy room.

Miss Mikayla has a Diploma of Early Childhood and plans on studying her bachelor of Education next year. Miss Mikayla has a true passion for children and this is seen when her face lights up talking about her job. Her soft nurturing personality makes her the perfect fit for our pre kindy room.

Nicky Mccaul

Miss Nicky is the Early Childhood Teacher in our Kindy Room. Miss Nicky is also one of the services Educational Leaders. Miss Nicky is responsible for mentoring and supporting the staff in the services curriculum to ensure each child’s individual developmental needs and goals are met.

Miss Nicky holds her Bachelor in Early year’s education.Miss Nicky has been in the industry for many years and is passionate about early years learning. You will always find the children in Miss Nicky’s room are always happy and engaged.
Miss Nicky is an asset to the organisation and the kindy children are very lucky to have her.

Deanna Hamson

Miss Dee is the lead educator alongside Miss Nicky in the Kindy Room.

Miss Dee has been with the service for 2 years and is studying her Diploma in Early Childhood education and care. Before Dee joined us at McDowall Village Childcare, she worked in an OSHC setting.

Dee has a passion for working with children and enjoys working with the older children in the Kindy room. Dee’s strong and nurturing relationship allows the children to understand guidelines and expectations to be school ready.

Pamela Haydon

Miss Pam is the Third educator in the Kindy Room.

Miss Pam has been with the organisation for 3.5 years and has a certificate III in early childhood. Miss Pam has worked with all age groups and enjoys working alongside our families and children to ensure all of their needs are met.

Pam has a passion for inclusion support and supports the staff and children in this area. Miss Pam is also a qualified Hair dresser and spends her weekends making people beautiful.
